Swaziland Heritage Tour

Get to fully understand the local culture by really going into the rural parts of Swaziland to meet the local people. Share a meal with a Swazi family and then also practice your click sounds of the local language.
This will give you a better understanding of the culture of the Swazi people in the rural villages. Play with the kids at school and also share something about where you come from so make sure you bring postcards and pictures etc.

At 08.30 am picks up with our vehicle at your hotel, and drive to the beautiful Mdzimba mountains (also famously known as the tea road), off the beaten track of the touristic Ezulwini valley.

Reaching the top, we stop to admire a breathtaking 360-degree view. This is a great opportunity for photographs.

We then take a short drive to kaLaMgabhi Primary School and have the opportunity to interact with pupils and teachers (only available when the school is open).

12.00 pm - We visit a family from the local rural area which will host our guests in their home and offer a delicious Swazi lunch made from organic vegetables.

Our guests then have a chance to interact with the family to discover the siSwati language and enjoy the presence of Swazi children. They can also admire and buy some of their homemade craft items.

After lunch, we drive back down to the Ezulwini valley. On the way to the museum, we stop by a well-known local craft market where clients can check out a wider variety of artifacts made by local artists. The visit to the historical museum and the parliament (Lobamba) is narrated by our guide, who will carry the clients away by the unique and original history and present governance of Swaziland.

4.30 pm: Drop off at the hotel.
